First, the combo they used to be so popular for seems like a bait and switch. They place the "upgraded" chips aka a normal bag of chips by the register. Naturally you grab them, and boom the cash register person automatically adds $1.00 to your check, or 15%. Look, it it was it is. It's just a sandwich place that caters to mainly college folks. However, this is where I really get completely and entirely disgusted... Use their public restrooms and walk behind the customer area to get there. You'll see the most horrific restaurant you've ever been to. The floors are embedded with black mold, dirt, crust, and all other sorts or grime and bacteria. The bathroom it's self if also a horror. Apparently the people who own and operate this business have zero sense of tidiness or pride of ownership, my garage is cleaner than this food service establishment. I don't have anything against this place, but it disturbs me that restaurant owners can keep such a pig stye.

I am so disgusted by you lack of service today, I call to place an order and you complain cause I ask what soda you have, you tell me just come in, your asking for too much!!!!! Are you serious???? I have bought sandwiches for the past three years from you and just cause I wanted something different than sprite today, you hang up on me!!!! I work for city hall and I will make sure everyone here know what a jerk you were....Ugh I'm so disgusted and so hungry because you refused my one sandwhich order!!!!!I will ale sure I post this everywhere mire than once.... I can't say enough great things about 620's! I've been going here for 4 years now and have yet to find another sub shop that compares! Unfortunately, since moving to Boynton I haven't been able to keep up with weekly visits, but the staff still manages to remember my order each time I am able to make it down there! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

Been here a few times. Every time I go I feel like I enter a tattoo parlor. The way these guys treat their women customers is just rude and extremely annoying. Today was my last straw of their "oh hey girl, you must be dumb so I'll treat you like one". I asked for 1 super Italian small and another but mini. The guy started talking about meats, pounds, combos. I'm no meat cutter so when you talk about pounds it doesn't register. I again gave him my order and he again persisted on the pounds and combo. I said ok listen I don't want a soda I don't need water just put a combo on which ever sub is best. As he begins to cut the bread and I see they are both minis. I mention this and he says are you sure you want a small...yes, this is for a man does that approve my order? I tell him what to add on the small and the other guy starts the mini. When I was done I look back at the small and he had put black olives...I didn't ask for them. At the end, I was the one who felt bad and left a nice tip for the wasted food. If you are a girl just be prepared to encounter meat heads.

620-SUBS, in its previous beloved reincarnation, is dead. New owners have completely changed the interior and removed the FAU stuff. Furthermore the usual guys who worked there are gone, so all you're left with are the 'just okay' subs. We went here because it was our hometown restaurant and our FAU hotspot, and now they've destroyed all that. Avoid. Try LaSpada's instead. Makes better subs and supports FAU the way a Boca Raton restaurant should.

I just ate at the new 620 subs and they suck. I use to love them when the old owners were in charge. They got new ownership and raised the prices and got rid of the well trained staff. They gave you barely any meat and they didn't tuck the meat so everything fell out. They put way too much vingerette and it was dripping everywhere. The best part is the don't have any napkin dispensers so after finishing a messy sandwich, you can forget about leaving with clean hands. I'm never going to 620 again... P.S. If you want to get a good sandwich drive down to ft. Lauderdale and go to Laspadas

So. Damn. Good. A+ bread, awesome ingredients with a huge selection of toppings, amazing dudes behind the counter, can't beat the Italian mini combo. Fantastic prices too. Wide selection of chips and drinks as well. I come back again and again even though it's a bit of a drive for me. Love this place. The only sad thing about it is that they got rid of the big mirror.

620 Subs is the best place to get a cold sub in Boca. Small, family owned shop with the friendliest people! They have a lunch deal with a 6" sub, drink and chips for $5.50 and let me tell you... They are not stingy when it comes to the meat! I suggest getting the Turtalian or the Super Combo.

First time and had to find out for myself! Not at all disappointed... Quite possibly one of the best sub shops I've been to in awhile. The 6" sub was filling and tasty! Sub is huge and fresh! Price is perfect! Lots of FAU gear throughout the shop! Yay for supporting the hometown team!!!

TOTAL Soup Nazi situation going on here. The people are so angry, and make you feel like a piece of trash! "You don't know what you want after the first 10 seconds of walking in? GTFO!" When I share my experience with friends, they automatically ask me "Did the fat guy make the sub for you? He's the mean one." I mean sure, the subs are great and the prices are good, but I value my self esteem and I think I'd rather make a PB&J at home. BTW I have noticed that it doesn't matter if your talking on the phone, the people are nasty regardless... Not for those with weak constitutions. Make sure you study the menu beforehand, or NO SUB FOR YOU!

Pros: Crazy amount of meat on the sub, local sub shop feel, friendly and funny employees, excellent prices (lunch special is $6.00 including tax for a giant sub, drink and bag of chips), lots of locals, outside seating, fresh veggies Cons: Crazy amount of meat on the sub, it is almost too much, like difficult to take a bite much. I dont know, maybe that is not a CON. Parking sometimes sucks.

Great subs! comparable to laspadas but without the price tag! family owned, and everyone is always very friendly unless you talk on the phone while ordering but hey thats just rude! service is very fast, one time i was in and out in about 45 seconds! Their lunch mini combo is not so mini and is about a 6inch sub which makes a great deal at 5 bucks! get the macaroni salad!

I'm a fan. I don't necessary know if I co-sign the "if you like their subs, you'll love ours," because that is implying they're that much better than Laspadas. I'm not sure of the story, but I was told the owner used to be apart of Laspadas subs so that is why you have the friendly competition. And hey, competition is healthy because it keeps them both honest. 620 is known for their ridiculously cheap lunch special. It's like $5.50 for a sub, chips and drink and you can't beat it. Their regular size subs are pretty impressive and for a sub shop, this is definitely one of the better ones around. I do lean towards Laspadas because I happen to think their tuna is better; but if I'm ever in the area and I'm craving a sub this is the spot. Not to mention, their staff is very friendly and you can be in and out within 3 minutes.

This spot has quickly become one of my favorite subs in South Florida! Very simple but out of this world!! The sweet peppers is where it's at!!! They load you up with meat! so if you order a whole sub, plan on saving half for dinner! Prices are also really reasonable!

Awesome food, great and friendly service, fast, fresh, and very affordable. Meat sliced to order, fresh crisp veggies. I can't believe how much food I got for the money. Some of the nicest people working there also. I am going back tomorrow.

Great subs! One of the best in Boca. The meat is fresh (they cut it in front of you). It not to big of a shop, not too much room to sit and eat. It is mainly a take out place. I love the Name / Phone number. It makes it easy to remember when you want to call ahead to place an order for pick up. 620-SUBS

Great Place. Really Nice guys who run the place and they treat everyone like a regular. They get super busy for the midday crunch so call ahead if your in a hurry the number is so easy to remember (561) 620 SUBS. Don't even worry about the crowd - The Line never takes long b/c they only have cold subs. They are huge, fresh, tasty, and a tremendous Value. Check it out for yourself.

Biggest subs imaginable a large is easily two meals, the small is two meals on a light day. The service is fast even during lunch when the lines are long. The employees are very nice and sociable. I prefer the Super combo, but have tried all of there subs with out disappointment. I have been going here for over 8 years and will certainly continue. The subs are pricy, but once you see the size of the subs you know why. Also, there lunch special is a great deal.

The $5 mini combo is the best deal out there. The sandwiches are made to order and huge! Seating is sparse for dining in but the turnover is quick. Wednesday they make the freshest chicken salad I have ever eaten. They are located in a small strip mall and parking can sometimes be a problem.

I used to work right across the street from this place and we went here everyday. I tried a few of their other subs but definitely their best one is the Italian. There's really not many places to sit in there--just a long bar and one table. At least half their business is take out. Not only that, but they're really just a lunch spot--I don't think they stay open too late and I don't even know if they're open on the weekends. I think a majority of their business is people who work 9 to 5 jobs. If you're in a rush, you can call ahead. However, they're pretty fast anyway. They offer subs in 3 different sizes: 4 inch, 8 inch, and 12 inch. The 8 inch is a meal in itself. The 4 inch you get with the mini combo (sub, chips, soda) and it has probably more meat than 6 inch subs you get from other sub shops. In addition, it's only $4.50. One thing I like a lot about 620 is that it feels like a mom and pop operation. I definitely recommend hitting it up before you go to any other chain sub shops.

I was first taken here by a friend my freshman year of college, otherwise I would have never known about it. It is a hidden gem in Boca, however, for anyone that likes a filling, great tasting, and inexpensive sub. My personal favorite is the super italian mini, $4.50 gets you a packed sub (it is impossible to close it, most just eat them open faced), a side (best mac salad), and a soda (unlimited refills). Though the sub looks small (4 inches) they pack enough in there that you are stuffed afterwards. You quickly notice one true sign of a great lunch place: people that come there nearly every single day and the owner can greet them by name. Not only is it the cheapest lunch in Boca but the best!

We ordered lunch in for 10 of us. Great food, got the salad dressings wrong but everyone loved the subs. Huge. Mini had 1/4 pound of meat, others were way too big, everyone had leftovers and was happy. We will do it again. Wheat bread was again fresh and yummy. Lots of chip variety and something for everyone.

The service is ok... After being there a few times there's one gentleman that's really nice to me. Other than that the other ones are mean, glare at you, and make sure you know they're upset that you don't tip. Food: I order typically the same thing every time so I'm speaking on this one: Italian sub It's really filled up (good for the price), and the meat is fresh, as is the cheese. Good subs, eh service.

My absolute favorite sub place. I don't work close by anymore but I used to eat here almost every day. Especially on Wednesday for Chicken salad day! Other than that I would get the Italian sub ever every thing on it and I never usually like veggies on my subs. The lunch special is cheap and the subs are loaded! Chips and a drink with the combo is perfect for lunch.

They make your sub upside down (meat on top, toppings on bottom), and if you speak your order and toppings all at once (even just one sandwich) the heavy set guy behind the counter will rage on you and tell that is not the proper way to place an order at 620. Nobody got time for that; there are too many good sandwich places in town. I'd rather pay more and wait longer for a superior product at the 'Italian deli' up the street.
